Excavation Laborer

American Rooter is a trusted leader in water and sewer line repairs, committed to delivering top-quality service. We are looking for Excavation Laborers to join our excavation crew. This role involves working alongside skilled tradespeople to assist in the installation and repair of water and sewer service lines.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in repairing and installing water lines, sewer lines, and water meters.
• Perform manual excavation, including digging trenches, backfilling, compacting, and jackhammering as needed.
• Load and unload materials and equipment at job sites.
• Operate machinery and heavy equipment under supervision.
• Prepare and clean construction sites before and after work.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures to ensure a secure work environment.
• Support skilled tradespeople as needed in completing water and sewer line repairs.

Qualifications:

• Valid PA driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Minimum of one year experience in excavation or underground utility work.
• Experience with hand tools, excavation equipment, and general labor tasks.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
• Day shifts with potential overtime as needed
