Group: Land Surveying
Position: CAD Technician
Location: Columbus, Cleveland, or Akron, Ohio
Our team of 40 professionals have access to the latest tools such as GPS, robotic, UAV technology, terrestrial scanning and hydrographic surveying equipment. Our Land Surveying team does it all, from ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys to topographic and boundary surveys, to hydrographic, transportation (bridge and road) and utility route surveys, to right-of-way services and construction staking.
Responsibilities
- Process field data into topographic surveys and ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys
- Preparation of exhibits and subdivision plats
- Assist with the layout of property and easement descriptions
- Download LiDAR, aerial photography and other GIS data from public domain sites
- Preparation of Location Control Route Survey Plats
Qualifications
- 2 or more years of professional experience in drafting or design
- 2 or more years of AutoCAD (current versions) and/or Civil 3D (current versions) experience
- Land survey drafting experience a plus
- MicroStation experience a plus
- Knowledge of other related software (Trimble Business Center, GIS, etc.)
- Experience with scanning or other non-traditional surveying technologies is a plus
