What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronic Technician position at AMERICAN Valve & Hydrant?
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
General Maintenance of plant electrical and electronic equipment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
1)Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
2)Must be able to read, write and understand written schedules and instructions.
3)Must have at least two years of electronic-related education or a minimum of 2 years Industrial
Maintenance work experience.
4)The electronic technician may not have a fear of heights or high voltage and cannot be color-blind.
5)Must have a forklift license or be capable of passing the forklift drivers examination.
6)Must be able to pass a test to determine qualifications.
7)Must score 70 or above on the qualifications test. (There will be a two week waiting period before
retesting.)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1)Maintain proper housekeeping in the Electrical Maintenance area.
2)Perform preventive maintenance work orders as assigned.
3)Perform maintenance work orders as assigned.
4)Order, stock, and maintain the maintenance repair parts inventory.
5)Adheres to all plant safety rules and procedures.
