AVP, Operations Manager

Job Title: AVP, Operations Manager Location: CA - Westlake Village What you'll do: Under the direction of the FVP/SVP, Operations Unit Manager, this position will participate in managing various vendors, addressing reporting needs, and leading user acceptance testing on different applications. The position will also support ad-hoc initiatives and projects to help increase efficiency and quality for the operation teams. This position will lead a team of Analysts to help deliver on the following: What we are looking for: Establish standards and guidelines for vendors, monitoring them to ensure policies are being followed Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors by communicating with them frequently to answer questions and provide direction Monitor vendors’ SLA, quality, and pipelines, while providing applicable reporting, making sure contract terms are fulfilled and mitigating vendor risk Address reporting needs by developing new reports and reviewing existing reports Review and confirm logic for new and existing reports/queries Apply applicable theories and concepts to interpret data, provide analysis and observations, and recommend related initiatives and solutions Track application releases and coordinate user acceptance testing; provide final operational approval prior to releases Coordinate application release impacts with the Training team; assist with creation of job aids as applicable Maintain a consistent and constant flow of communication with team members and managers; articulate thoughts crisply but with the appropriate level of detail and accuracy depending on audience Create and present relevant information (trends, accomplishments, opportunities, etc.) as needed for management meetings with peers and superiors Ensure management of departmental service levels, production and quality standards What you need to have: 3-5 years of industry experience, vendor management or oversight experience preferred Experience in data analysis and reporting Bachelor's degree preferred in a business, data analytics, or related field or equivalent Some management and/or project lead experience in data analysis related field Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) Experience in Microsoft SQL Server and Excel VBA is a plus, not required A firm understanding of mortgage banking, correspondent lending and mortgage finance is a plus Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $92,450.00 - $114,203.33 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
