INVENTORY CLERK
We are looking for a detail-oriented, hard-working inventory clerk with warehouse experience and excellent math and communication skills. your responisibilities would includde maintaining inventory records and preparing balance and shortages reports. Inventory clerks may expect to work long hours sometimes.
Successful Inventory Clerks should have exceptional math and analytical skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills. Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, workingknowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and ERP Sortware.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining and updating records.
- Counting materials, equipment, finished goods or supplies.
- Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.
- Developing or improving upon inventory management procedures.
- Stocking and distributing supplies, equipment, and goods.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- High School diploma
- 2 years’ experience in inventory control
- Excellent math and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work extended hours
- Forklift experience, preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS
Movement - This position needs to frequently sit, move about inside the office and production facility. Frequently required to reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Operate/Use - Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery. May be required to use a Forklift and other equipment.
Ascend/Descend - Will be frequently required to ascend/descend stairs
Lifts - This position frequently lifts or moves 10 pounds, Occasionally moves up to 25 pounds, rarely moves up to 50 pounds.
Communicate - This position must communicate using verbal and written communications.
Work Environment - Typical production environment. In the production facility: Noise level requires use of hearing protection, movement about facility requires use of steel toe shoes, safety glasses. This position is fast paced.
