POSITION SUMMARY:
The fundamental responsibility of the Staff Accountant is to maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Post and reconcile cash daily
- Code and post credit card transactions daily
- Personality to warmly interact with Managers regarding questions in a customer oriented mindset
- Expert with Excel, particularly using VLOOKUP functions and basic pivot tables
- Experience posting intercompany transactions and balancing each transaction
- Post Payroll Journal Entries and reconcile corresponding accounts
- Excellent time management skills
- Post and code accounts payable to Bill.com.
- Maintain QuickBooks (and future state NetSuite) by accurately recording and updating financial transactions, ensuring all entries comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Perform regular reconciliations of financial accounts and statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Location Requirements
- Geographically located near Corporate HQ located at Dunwoody Park South, Atlanta
- In-office a minimum of 40 hours per week
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- One (1) to Three (3) years’ accounting experience preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Robust understanding of accrual accounting and GAAP
Education/Licensing/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or a related field (preferred)
- Working toward CPA or other certification is a plus

- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Self-motivated and dynamic thinker with the ability to flex, innovate, and solve problems creatively.
