Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers or clients accurately, loudly, or quickly; 3) Hearing – perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with/without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication; 4) Specific vision abilities required by this job include: viewing a computer monitor; extensive reading along with travel as required.
Sedentary work may require occasionally lifting of up to 10 pounds and/or move up to 25 pounds. This work involves sitting most of the time with some walking.
Travel
Limited travel is required for this position and could include overnight stays.
Competencies
A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or similar field along with a minimum of ten (10) years direct or related experience to include a minimum of three (3) years portfolio management experience. CFA or CIMA is also required. Excellent analysis and interpersonal skills desired, as well as the ability to help develop new business.

Essential Functions
- Closely adhere to Company policies and procedures, particularly regarding investment management guidelines, client objectives, and annual review requirements.
- Provide prompt and courteous response to client inquiries, and active communication with account administrative officers and clients.
- Initiate action to accurately effect security purchase and sales orders.
- Keep informed of trends and developments in the economy and capital markets.
- Assist in day-to-day guidance of support staff.
- Monitor, review, and manage the investment portfolios of all assigned accounts, especially those that are more complex or critically important to the success of the Company.
- Assist and promote business development efforts in a direct and supporting capacity as practical and feasible.
- Proactively call upon assigned client accounts while maintaining an exemplary client retention ratio.
- Perform additional projects as assigned.
- Maintain all professional credentials and certifications while pursuing continuing education to maintain knowledge and proficiency.
- Assure delivery of quality service and investment performance results for clients consistent with account circumstances, client needs and expectations in accordance with established industry benchmarks agreed upon with management.
- Provide technical and quantitative expertise in managing and improving internal systems and program software used for the performance measurements, presentation materials, and other ongoing development.
- Perform maintenance and reporting operation for performance calculations and presentation for individual and composite measurements.
