The position assists with the ongoing administration of 401k contribution tracking, tax reporting, account reconciliation, and compliance related to taxes. The incumbent's primary role will be to audit and cleaning of incoming data files, maintain system records and tables, and monitor compliance with all employment tax related regulations. Additionally, the incumbent may be responsible for reconciling all payroll related suspense accounts and reporting on outstanding balances regularly. The incumbent will also assist in resolving any matters that may arise.

What you do:
- Develop new technical skills and expand knowledge of our systems and recordkeeping software to find better ways to service our clients and adapt to system changes and upgrades.
- Download payroll files uploaded by sponsor-to-sponsor web.
- Track receipt of deposits.
- Reconcile trust deposits with payroll files.
- Process payrolls for plans through Relius recordkeeping system.
- Execute trades immediately upon receipt of file and matching deposit.
- Record all trading activity and reconciliation in PlanConnect.
- Resolve any issues related to payroll processing, including under or over funding, eligibility, statutory limits, employer contributions, and loan payments.
- Manage forfeitures on a per payroll basis as required by plan.
- Complete all year end processing requirements to complete plan year including final reports, transactions, and census updates.
- Ensure system and STATA files remain in synch with sponsor files and company needs.
- Strive to improve payroll processing efficiency and reduce sponsor's administrative burden by updating processing practices.
- Maintain excellent relationship with plan sponsor, following up as needed on any outstanding payroll items.
- Work with plan administrator and plan sponsor regarding contribution verification reports.
- Work with SAS team on monitoring and execution of BluePrism payroll processing.
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 0-2 years’ of relevant experience required. Relevant experience could include payroll or retirement plans.
- Retirement Plans experience desired.
