Position Description :
Ameritas is looking for our next Director, Actuarial to join our Corporate Actuarial Risk Management team as our Director of Asset Modeling and Governance, reporting to VP, Actuarial Risk Management. This detail-oriented, results-driven individual will have extensive modeling and asset liability management experience and be able to be a subject matter expert on actuarial model development and applications.
This position is responsible for providing asset & ALM-related actuarial services for actuarial model-based risk management applications such as Enterprise Risk Management, Asset Liability Management, Own Risk Solvency Assessment (ORSA) compliance, Cash Flow Testing, Risk Based Capital (RBC), Principle-Based Reserving and valuation, Liquidity Testing, and Financial Planning. This position will also help manage and participate more heavily in the company’s Asset Liability Management (ALM) responsibilities. This position participates in the financial management of the company by providing actionable information that enables senior management to make good business decisions and manage the company’s risks.
This position will also support the Model Architect and Model Steward to ensure quality governance of the Corporate Actuarial models.

The pay range posted reflects a nationwide minimum to maximum covering all potential locations where the position may be filled. The final determination on pay for any position will be based on multiple factors including role, career level, work location, skill set, and candidate level of experience to ensure pay equity within the organization.
