Amerlux, a leader in the interior and exterior lighting industry for over 35 years is seeking a Quotations and Pre-Sales Supervisor to join the team in our Oakland, New Jersey headquarters.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing Pre-Sale sales and customer support services to internal, external and international customers. They will also be responsible for sales goals for assigned In-House customers. This position manages pre-sale functions, sales reporting and provides comprehensive analytics to the Senior Management Team.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Pre-Sale support for Sales Team and customers to identify requirements and work internally with cross functional teams for seamless rollout. Responsible for gathering, validating and communicating all expectations for overall program success and transition through the pre-sale to sale process.
- Execute inside sales responsibilities, to include crosses and layouts, for $100k plus sales in commercial and national accounts.
- On-boarding and off-board agent relationships when appropriate. Train new agents on processes and procedures.
- Leadership and management responsibility for the Inside Sales team and team development in line with goals set by VP of Sales.
- Responsible for sales goals, forecasting, relationship development and complete sales functions of assigned In-House customers. Develop tracking mechanisms for new rep/agents to provide feedback on performance in NPI, sales quotes, large products and sales performance compared to contract terms.
- Establish team structure and processes to support the development of In-House Sales Support for identified customers.
- Maintain current forecasting of future sales through collaboration with Sales team, customers and Purchasing.
- Partner with Quotations department on quote reviews and follow up.
- Responsible for all monthly sales, Rep and commission sales financial reporting as identified on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Support the Sales team on long-term and tactical short-term goals for account growth and penetration; Provide and report upon metrics that measure results.
- Attend key customer meetings, account meetings and trade shows along with sales team leaders to support key sales initiatives and develop new accounts.
- Work alongside individual sales team members to build and expand relationships through training and sales programs that best address customer needs. Coordinate efforts throughout internal cross functional teams.
- Provide all required support and customer management responsibilities for International customers, jobs and opportunities. Work in conjunction with Sales Managers to support Apple and Canadian business opportunities.
- Take lead with Marketing and Sales team leaders on showroom experience presentations, coordination of use and any other programs.
- Effectively manage direct reports in term of: identifying opportunities to streamline processes; automate reports, improve the customer experience relative to take-offs and technical support
- Other responsibilities as directed by Senior Management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years Lighting, Architectural, or Design engineering industry experience.
- 5 years of Quotations or Sales Support experience with supervisory/leadership experience.
- Project Management and strategic sales support experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with expertise in office computer applications and spreadsheets.
Salary : $100,000
