Job Title: SQL Database Engineer
Location : Overlandpark, KS
SScope of Work: Responsibilities Partner with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and drive to the primary concern. Participate in code design, review and quality analysis phases of application development. Analyze user stories and find creative solutions to solve them. Qualifications Required 2-3 Years experience writing advanced SQL Analyzes business processes, workflow, database requirements, user requirements and existing business application functionality; develops project scopes, feasibility studies, and system requirements. Responds to requests for data or for data analysis including reporting, normalization, field mapping, and duplicate record detection using SQL-based query languages or reporting software. Performs extensive data discovery and unit testing to ensure deployment of quality solutions early in the software development life-cycle. Working knowledge of relational databases such as MS SQL Server or Azure SQL Collaborate with end-user needs assessment, analysis/design, development, testing, implementation, documentation and on-going support. Experience/Minimum Requirements 5 years of MS SQL server and SQL scripting experience including SQL and T-SQL. Experience creating packages, procedures and functions on SQL. Experience in authoring, managing and deploying solutions using SQL Integrated Services (SSIS) Other Skills/Abilities Can maintain and troubleshoot existing, complex SQL Possesses working knowledge of Business Intelligence end-user self-service tools Tableau, Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Ampcus is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
