Subcontractor and Supplier Sourcing Manager

In this key role, you will identify, evaluate, and onboard subcontractors and suppliers to support diverse project scopes. With a sharp focus on market trends, networking, and innovation, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our enterprise remains agile and competitive in a rapidly evolving marketplace. Your ability to lead with strategic insight and foster collaborative partnerships will be integral to achieving our organizational goals. 

What You’ll Do: 

• Develop Strategic Sourcing Plans: Design and execute strategies that align with business needs, client objectives, and sustainability goals while maintaining regulatory compliance. 

• Build Strong Relationships: Cultivate partnerships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure exceptional service, quality, and value. 

• Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analyses to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and refine sourcing strategies. 

• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, identify synergies, and manage risks. 

• Drive Process Improvement: Lead change initiatives, adopt cutting-edge technologies, and leverage data-driven tools to enhance sourcing efficiency. 

• Ensure Performance Excellence: Monitor subcontractor and vendor performance, provide feedback, and implement measures for continuous improvement. 

• Risk Mitigation: Assess and address supply chain risks, including conducting on-site audits when necessary. 

Who You Are: 

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field (or possess equivalent experience). 

• You bring at least 5 years of experience in supply chain or supplier diversity, preferably in an industrial environment. 

• You’re skilled in strategic planning, market research, and developing sourcing strategies. 

• You’re proficient with tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and have strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. 

• Certifications such as CPSD or CPSM are a plus. 

• Public speaking and relationship management come naturally to you, and you’re comfortable presenting at conferences or engaging with clients.
