Must Have Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial Underwriting experience in CARRIERS NOT AGENCIES
- Proficiency in desktop tools, underwriting systems, and email systems.
- Effective communication skills with internal and external customers
- Adaptability to change.
- Valid state-issued driver's license in good standing
- 3 1-hour virtual interviews
- Underwrite and process assigned renewal policies, ensuring adherence to underwriting standards and guidelines.
- Answer incoming calls from agents and make adjustments to policy information.
- Collaborate with agents and other departments to grow and maintain a profitable book of business.
- Provide guidance and effective communication to internal and external customers.
- Conduct profit and growth analysis and monitor premium retention.
