Job Description
AMS Staffing, Inc. has partnered with a boutique family law firm in the Montrose area in search of various Family Law Paralegals. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience handling family law matter from intake to settlement and/or trial. This candidate must have experience with managing various aspects of family law matters including uncontested and contested divorces, with or without children, pre nuptial agreements, and post nuptial agreements.
Required Skills and Experience
- Managing client interactions and conducting intake.
- Collaborating with clients to gather pertinent information and documents.
- Draft petitions and conduct discovery;
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and other correspondence;
- Enter billable time;
- Preparing for depositions, and mediation;
- Manage a docket of family law matters with attorney.
Experience
- 3 years at a reputable family law firm working as a paralegal managing a docket of family law matters.
