Join our Amwins Brokerage team in Dallas, TX as an Associate Broker!
This position is in-office, with a hybrid schedule once training is complete. None of our positions are commission based or involve cold calling.
Each Associate Broker provides vital team functions:
- Marketing support and customer assistance
- With mentorship and guidance from your producing Broker:
- Analyze new and renewal submissions and provide market selection
- Determine coverage needs and develop proposals
- Select markets and send the proposal to various companies for selected accounts
- Negotiate terms and prices and send the quote to the agent
- Serve as contact person for key selected agents
- Bind the policy and issue documents or delegate as appropriate
- Receive and respond to calls/requests concerning problems, delays, discrepancies, etc. and provide resolution so that all parties are satisfied
- May work with the team’s Technical staff to divide or delegate processing tasks
- Other duties as assigned
We are looking for people with:
- 5 years prior insurance experience
- Wholesale insurance experience preferred
- Energy and environment experience preferred
- Ability to earn a P&C License within 90 days, cost reimbursed and study support provided by Amwins
