Our team is developing the next generation of security screening solutions for airports worldwide while maintaining a large, deployed fleet. Analogic is looking for a highly motivated Software Project Manager to be part of a team producing industry leading technology for Airport Security.
DUTIES:
- Lead and manage software projects from planning to post-launch.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues.
- Facilitate cross-functional team collaboration.
- Serve as the primary contact for project communications.
- Update senior leadership on project progress.
- Coordinate resource allocation and team management.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development and project management.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct post-project reviews.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. and a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development or project management.
- Proven experience managing software projects and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.
- Strong technical background and understanding of software engineering processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana, MS Project).
- Preferred certifications: PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit/stand for long periods.
- Occasionally lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Work in office, lab, and manufacturing environments.
- Safety and ESD protections required in labs and manufacturing.
- X-ray safety training and dosimeter badge required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Primarily office-based, with regular lab work.
- Occasional work with aviation security threats.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Office, laboratory, manufacturing, and customer sites.
