Assistant Project Manager Position at a growing General Contractor.
Responsibilities may include:
· Support Project Manager& Senior Leaders with Daily Tasks.
· Research and compile information about licenses and permits required for each project.
· Keep desk folder and field file up to date with all important documentation for project.
· Support coordination and management of projects.
· Complete any tasks assigned by the Project manager in efficient and timely manner.
· Studies bid specs carefully, studies drawings in detail to ensure no details are missed
· Purchasing / procurement.
· Provide aid to the project manager in locating materials and calculating projected project costs.
· Act as a liaison between upper management and staff, passing along new information from project manager to staff / subcontractors
· Keep updated pictures of progress on jobsite if requested
· Maintain daily construction schedule with subcontractors and vendors.
· Provide measurements / take offs for materials for project (Trim, windows, doors, etc)
· Update Document Control Logs
· Update Submittal Logs
· Research & search out qualified Vendors and Subcontractors
· Procure qualified proposals from Subcontractors / Vendors
· Prepare detailed Scopes of Work for Owners and Subcontractors
· Qualify Proposals from Subcontractors / Vendors
· Update jobsite schedules regularly
Requirements:
Must be self-motivated, detail orientated, and able to adhere to strict deadlines.
Must be able to pass drug testing and background check.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. (Word & Excel)
· Ability to work independently or within a group.
Salary Based on Experience
Salary : $25 - $35
