We are a full service veterinary ophthalmology specialty hospital providing complete diagnostic and preventative ocular examinations, medical and surgical therapies, and extensive education to our clients for their pets ocular health.
ANIMAL EYE SPECIALTY CLINIC is seeking a credentialed (CVT, LVT, RVT, AHT) experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team in West Palm Beach. Our technicians play a vital role in our practice and enable us to provide high quality specialized medicine. Knowledge and customer service go hand in hand, and are showcased by our technicians interactions with our patients and clients.
**Pay is Based Upon Experience***
Our doctors encourage the technicians to utilize every aspect of nursing care for which they were trained .
Qualifications/Skills:
- Patient restraint and assisting doctors with examinations
- Obtaining detailed history
- Venipuncture
- IV Catheterization
- Intubation
- Anesthetic Monitoring
- Medical Terminology
- Strong communication skills with both team members and clients
- Friendly and positive attitude with ability to work well in a team atmosphere
- Ability to multi-task, efficient time management and prioritization
Training will be provided for ophthalmology specific skills. Our surgical requirements are extensive so we are seeking someone with a strong background in anesthesia and surgery.

Surgical tech responsibilities include calculation and administration of preanesthetic drugs, induction, intubation, monitoring and documentation of vital signs, discerning the difference between abnormal and normal values and overall knowledge of a surgical suite.
