SUMMARY: |
Guides patient/client through first contact with CHS, to hand off to audiologist/advocate, and post-appointment. Responds to referrals, checks insurance, schedules appointments, and ensures compliance. Responds to all patients/clients/visitors, triaging requests, and providing information about CHS/Anixter and our services and programs. |
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: |
- Schedules patient/client appointments and maintains calendar.
- Responds to telephone, email, and VP inquiries for CHS in a timely manner.
- Collects payments from clients.
- Coordinates all referrals, determines insurance eligibility, and completes related paperwork.
- Maintains patient/client records.
- Welcomes all patients/clients/visitors to CHS/Anixter, responding to inquiries, and triaging requests.
- Translates documents/meetings/events as needed.
- Attends training as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS (Competencies, skills, abilities, experience, education necessary.) |
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years administrative/clerical, bookkeeping or medical billing experience.
- Must possess excellent bilingual English/Spanish language skills, both spoken and written.
- Working knowledge of computer software programs (including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel) is required.
- Must be well-organized, flexible, detail-oriented and able to work independently.
- Professional attitude and appearance a must.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High performance teams and a strong team player.
- Commitment to company values.
- Knowledge of American Sign Language is a plus, or will teach on site.
