Job Description
Nature of Work:
Provide psychiatric evaluations, treatment, and ongoing medication management for individuals with mental health diagnoses who are currently receiving care for opioid use disorder and co-occurring substance use disorders. Requires on-site availability at least one day per week, responsiveness to emergent needs during the week, and proficiency with telehealth platforms. Have experience working with individuals receiving medications for opioid use disorder and demonstrate an understanding of a harm reduction and person-centered model of care.
Minimum Qualifications
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience prescribing psychiatric medication to individuals with substance use disorders.
License or Certification:
Must possess a current license as a Nurse Practitioner from the Maryland Board of Nursing with Psych specialization from the Maryland Board of Physicians.
Notes:
Must provide documentation of current professional malpractice insurance with a minimum of $1 million per incident/ $3 million aggregate coverage.
