What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cyber Security Embark Intern Summer 2025 position at Answers in Genesis?
The Embark Internship Program contributes to the spiritual, personal and professional development of the student. As a Cyber Security Embark Intern the student will work with the Cyber Security team to :
- Research and prevent attacks on the AiG Network, monitoring online security resources for emerging cyber threats
- Ensure and improve the security of workstations, tablets, and other end-user devices
- Manage workstation patch process
- Manage MDM security policies
- Resolve problem tickets
- Compile monthly reports with analysis
- Investigate and respond to real-time alerts
- Review firewall, switch, server, and workstation logs for cyber-related issues
- Communicate technical issues to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff with tact and in a Christ-like manner
- Provide end-user training on various security-related topics
