Description
To assist members/potential members with their Credit Union financial needs including lending, processing transactions, vault management, account management, and performing a variety of duties within the branch that supports Credit Union operations. Provide quality member service and support to all members, potential members, and colleagues.
Conduct all aspects of teller operations within the branch ensuring daily activities are performed in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. Responsible for vault oversight including cash management duties. Provide guidance and support to branch staff.
Provide Quality Member Service by completing member financial transactions to include deposits, loans, etc. Balance teller drawer and meet documentation requirements as directed.
Corresponds with and interviews loan applicants. Evaluate necessary documents for approval and process approved loan documents for disbursement/filing, ensuring Credit Union polices and legal requirements are met.
Thorough knowledge of CU products and services to serve members with opening and closing accounts, answering questions about products and services, and resolving concerns. Identifies cross-sell opportunities and cross-sells products and services to members.
Performs other duties as needed or assigned
Qualifications
One year to three years of similar or related experience.
(1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
