OverviewThe General Manager will oversee all aspects of a location’s day-to-day operations, financial performance and team development. This individual will drive growth, optimize performance metrics, build a strong culture and lead the professional development of staff and management. With full P&L ownership, this role combines strategic, financial and operational leadership to create a world-class operation.

Success in this role offers an expedited path to overseeing additional growth initiatives and potential acquisitions within Apex’s expanding network.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business strategies to drive key performance metrics, including revenue, sales conversions, average invoice, employee retention, customer satisfaction, and maintenance subscription plans
- Deliver a “gold standard” of service and quality through effective training, accountability, and data-driven decision-making
- Cultivate a culture of purpose and collaboration, fostering employee engagement and retention at all levels
- Lead efforts to expand employment opportunities, impacting through career growth and skill development
- Manage all financial activities, including budgeting and forecasting, with accountability for achieving performance goals and optimizing P&L
- Serve as a visible, hands-on leader, with daily in-person presence required in the Greater Dayton and Cincinnati area

Ideal candidates will possess:
- A minimum of 3 years managing teams
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience directly owning and managing a P&L preferred, with a playbook-driven approach to leadership and hiring
- Strong interpersonal, motivational and communication skills, with the ability to inspire followership
- Energetic and optimistic attitude, adaptability to change and proven success in achieving results
- Critical thinking and risk analysis skills to develop creative, actionable solutions
- A deep respect for the Skilled Trades or similar industries
