We are hiring full and part time Valet Attendants for a luxury hotel in Downtown Delray Beach. We are looking for people who have exceptional customer service and communication skills. Competence and professionalism are key qualities for this position. Previous valet parking experience and the ability to drive stick shift are required. Other responsibilities include safely moving vehicles to and from the garage, answering guest questions, and otherwise assisting guests so as to provide a luxury experience.

This is a valet only location. If you are an experienced valet runner with excellent customer service and manual transmission skill, then this is a job for you.

Job Duties/Qualifications:

• This position requires exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Minimum 21 years of age required.
• Must be skilled in manual transmission (stick shift) operation.
• Valet parking experience is required for this position.
• Must be able to communicate accurately and professionally in written and spoken English.
• Safely moving vehicles to and from the garage; back-in and parallel parking skills are mandatory.
• Inspecting and taking note of pre-existing damage of each vehicle prior to parking.
• Control flow of traffic on ramp.
• Greet and assist guests as needed.
• We are looking for professional valet attendants; conduct should always be above board and personal presentation should be neat and conservative, while on shift.
• Ability to arrive to work prior to your scheduled shift, ready to work at the time scheduled, is required.
• Must be able to jog short distances and stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours, less a break).
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record is required; motor vehicle record check will be administered.
• Drug test will be administered (mmj not allowed).
