API Heat Transfer is looking for people who enjoy being part of transformation. We have a new mission, new leaders, and are accelerating our path to Lean Cultural Change.
Our Production team is expanding, and we are seeking a Welder for first shift at our Racine location.

What We Offer You :
- Starting Hourly Rate $24.00 based on experience.
- Quarterly attendance bonuses.
What You Will Do :
- Assemble units according to blueprint prior to welding.
- Set up and run automatic welding machines to blueprint tolerances.
- Weld components manually using both TIG and MIG welding.
- Position and secure work pieces using hoists.
- Weld using a welding positioner / turntable.
- Inspect product and equipment for defects and malfunctions.
What You Bring :
- Proficient in GMAW (gas metal arc welding) and GTAW (gas tungsten arc welding).
- Capable of adjusting machines to different material thickness.
- Ability to self-manage with a diverse workload.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
Additional Requirements : Qualified candidates will be asked to complete a weld test to D1.2 AWS (American Welding Society, Structural Welding Code - Aluminum)
