Location: Connecticut and Rhode Island- Travel Required

Are you a skilled and experienced construction professional looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference? Apple Rehab is seeking a dedicated HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team!
Job Description:
As a HVAC Technician, you will be an integral part of our internal construction team, working on projects across our 21 nursing communities in CT and RI. Your role will involve working in various weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors, and tackling diverse tasks at different locations on a daily and weekly basis. You will collaborate with our lead foreman on various construction projects pertaining to HVAC
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
- Light plumbing
- Indoor Air Quality Management
- Ensuring that HVAC systems comply with relevant regulations
- Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and equipment specifications
- Diagnosing and repairing HVAC system malfunctions or breakdowns promptly to minimize disruptions to residents' comfort and safety.
- Ability to climb ladders (under 2 stories)
- Responds to emergency calls
Qualifications:
- Licensed HVAC, CFC Certification, EPA certification
- 3-5 years of HVAC experience, preferably with a construction background
- Must be willing and able to travel to all locations
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Capability to perform tasks both inside and outside
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic tools of the trade
- Must be a team player
