Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience leading and growing engineering teams, including hiring, performance management, and team development.
- Demonstrated ability to provide hands-on technical leadership, including mentoring, guiding, and motivating engineers.
- Successful track record of leading large-scale engineering projects from inception to production.
- Experience with Java. Any other JVM or functional languages like Kotlin is a plus.
- Experience with elastic platforms, Kubernetes-based microservices, and distributed computing architectures.
- Hands-on experience with data stores such as Cassandra, CockroachDB, Postgres, Redis, or similar technologies.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing complex workflow systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to convey technical ideas clearly and persuasively to non-technical customers.
- Strong collaboration skills; experience working effectively with engineers, product managers, designers, and multi-functional teams.
- Strong strategic mentality; capable of setting a clear vision, seeing the big picture, and driving team and platform growth in alignment with that vision.
- Solid analytical skills with a deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,000 and $313,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
