Job Duties
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to expand market presence and achieve revenue goals.
- Identify and engage with new customer segments, including U.S. government agencies, foreign military organizations, and commercial enterprises.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote products and services.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities within aerospace and defense.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet customer needs and highlight the company’s competitive advantages.
- Lead proposal development, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations to secure new business.
- Provide regular reports and insights on business development activities to the executive team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or program management within the aerospace or defense industries.
- Proven track record of developing and closing high-value contracts.
- Familiarity with government contracting processes and international defense markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
Preferred Experience
- Advanced degree in business administration or engineering.
- Experience working with unmanned systems or ground control technologies.
- Knowledge of HOTAS (Hands on Throttle and Stick) systems or similar control layouts.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and build long-term customer relationships.
- Background in startup or agile business environments.
Security Clearance
- Must be able to obtain US Secret clearance.
