We are seeking a Medical Biller with experience in Sage and custom reporting through an EMR system. This role is responsible for managing the medical billing process, handling Medicare, Medical, and Commercial claims, and generating custom financial reports.
Location: Neptune, NJ
CONTRACT Duration: 6 months (can extend)
Hybrid environment: Rotating on-site / remote (1 week on-site, 1 week remote)
Hourly rate: $30 - 35/hr (This is open to discuss based on experience /-)
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the medical billing process using SAGE.
- Prepare and submit Medicare, Medical, and Commercial insurance claims, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Create and analyze custom reports in the EMR system for billing, adjustments, claims, and revenue.
- Utilize Excel to generate detailed financial reports.
- Manage aged accounts, track outstanding balances, and follow up on payments.
- Identify and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Process accounts receivable transactions and reconcile payments.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in medical billing and insurance claims processing.
- Proficiency in SAGE and custom reporting within an EMR system.
- Strong Excel skills for financial data analysis.
- Familiarity with electronic billing systems.
