Apto Solutions is hiring for a temp to hire Staff Accountant.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Process accounts payable
- Manage and own the GL Accounting as well as the AR/AP
- Issue bills, track and document updates and payments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software
- Manage direct expense accounting
- Prepare, check, and process invoices
- Provide support for budgeting and forecasting processes
- Must have an Accounting Degree
- Experience as a Staff Accountant with high AP/AR involvement
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks is a plus
- Familiarity with public accounting procedures and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies or errors in financial data
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Location: Atlanta, GA, 30318
- Hybrid with 3 days in the office
