ARB, Inc is Hiring a Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift Near Moncks Corner, SC
We are seeking a Forklift Operator to work the evening (2pm-1:30m). The Forklift Operator will focus on safe and efficient movement of products and materials, and make sure that all quality control and safety protocols are met.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Loading, unloading, shipping and receiving warehouse items
- Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
- Inspecting for damages to vehicles
- Managing inventory by locations
- Adhering to production schedules
- Picking and wrapping orders for shipment
- Writing work order for maintenance and repairs for forklift
- Securing loads from the machine before transportation
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
- Operate forklifts for storage or removal of materials
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Prepare products and materials for shipment
- Load, unload, and stage products and materials
- Track and record units of materials handled
- Good written, reading and verbal communication
- Inspect the final product
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 2-6 years of forklift operating experience is required
- Familiarity with warehouse tools and equipment
- Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Prolong periods working on feet, using tools and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
- Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds at a time
