What Will You Be Doing?
- Investigate land details and due diligence to determine eligibility for land acquisition
- Coordination with Land Acquisition Managers through the negotiation for purchase
- Coordinate and consult with municipal staff on timelines and application processes
- Oversee the completion, submittal and approval of zoning applications, including rezone, PUD, plat, variances, and amendments
- Review municipal ordinances and write PUD development standards, ordinances and related documents
- Consult with engineers and landscape architects on design and layout of conceptual plans
- Coordinate and review due diligence packages and site inspections for development related issues
- Facilitate and attend meetings with key stakeholders, to include utility providers, planning staff, government officials, civic organizations, and local neighborhood groups, as well as public hearings and neighborhood meetings
- Prepare all presentation materials for public hearings and stakeholder meetings
- Work with the Land Development and Construction teams to ensure that development and construction are in compliance with all requirements.
What Will You Bring?
- A Bachelor's degree in urban planning, landscape architecture, civil engineering, construction management, business, or a related field of study
- Experience in real estate or local government is a plus
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
