Research Data Analyst
The research data analyst will join a team of analysts, traders, sales and IT professionals producing independent, data-driven economic research for institutional investors through the
Arbor Data Science (ADS) research platform. ADS focuses on using advanced analytics of data to explain and forecast consumer, business, and investor actions. Creativity, strong communication skills and openness to collaboration are paramount. Ideal candidates should be self-starters, able to quickly analyze markets independently, communicate well via written and spoken word, and operate both independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate data-driven findings to sales team and clients
- Preparation of alternative and traditional data sources
- Manage algorithms and models forecasting economic data and financial markets
- Use statistical analysis and machine learning models to identify patterns within data sets
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, statistics, economics, mathematics, engineering or related fields
- Strong comprehension of financial markets
- Strong written and visual presentation skills
- Ability to use technical skills to analyze data and communicate insights
- Knowledge of scripting languages (R, Python, Julia, etc.)
- Programming / development experience
- Strong team player
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
