Preschool Aide

Location: Grosse Pointe Farms, MI, 48236

Job Description:

The Preschool Aide will assist the lead teacher in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children ages 3-5. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with classroom activities and lessons
• Supervising children during playtime and outdoor activities
• Assisting with meal and snack times
• Helping with classroom cleanup and organization
• Communicating with parents and guardians as needed
• Assisting with maintaining accurate records and documentation

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with young children preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Working Conditions:

The Preschool Aide will work in a classroom setting with children ages 3-5. The position may require standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods of time. The position may also require occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
