What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Studies Teacher for Maternity Leave position at Archdiocese of Indianapolis?
St. Therese Little Flower Catholic School is a diverse, welcoming community on the near Eastside of Indianapolis that is hiring a Social Studies teacher to cover a maternity leave in April/May. We believe that building positive relationships is the foundation of a strong education. We are looking for teachers who can lead, innovate, and advocate for all people in our community.
The Social Studies teacher is part of a cohesive team of six other teachers in grades 6-8. The teacher will be responsible for teaching six sessions of Social Studies, 2 at each grade level. The successful candidate will have high expectations for students and even higher expectations for themselves.
Small class sizes allow for great relationship building.
The ability to speak Spanish is a plus but is not required.
