Duties
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection processing as required.
- Assist in laboratory procedures and ensure proper handling of specimens.
- Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and ensuring comfort during visits.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with healthcare professionals.
- Follow aseptic techniques to prevent infection during procedures.
- Support the healthcare team by preparing examination rooms and ensuring necessary supplies are available.
- Exhibit knowledge of anatomy to assist in patient examinations and procedures.
Skills
- Proficient in venipuncture techniques and laboratory practices.
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
