We are seeking a Head of Supply Chain to join the team in Valdosta, GA

Responsibilities:
The Head of Supply Chain will lead a cohesive team responsible for consistent supply of raw materials and vendor management. Providing opportunities to operate in a highly collaborative role with both external and internal partners to enable production plans to be created, maintained, and delivered.
- Supply Chain Strategy – Develops and communicates the Supply Chain Strategy. Development of specific Supply Chain goals and align with other key functions including manufacturing and technical development. Provide leadership and guidance to supply chain organization with the main goals of achieving customer service levels while optimizing end-to-end supply chains
- Supply Chain Operations – alignment of operational strategy with business strategy; management of assets, inventory, space and resources to improve customer service and delivery performance in line with corporate objectives; implementation of best practices. Ensures SAP master data maintenance process is properly performed.
- Supply Chain Planning – Ensure raw material availability to meet manufacturing schedule for manufacturing.
- Risk Management – support the development and implementation of business continuity plans, and develop and implement a supply chain risk and issue management process
- Prepares and monitors annual budget and projection process. Delivers on commitments with focus on volumes, inventories, and department spending.
- Develops people in technical, administrative, and interpersonal skills. Provides for leadership development and diversity.
- Develops procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with cGMP, internal control, company policies and business rules.
- Implement and monitor supply chain metrics.
- Drives change creating an environment that encourages continuous improvement
- Develop others by increasing self-determination and developing competence through personal development planning and coaching as required
- Provide problem-solving leadership on technical and quality matters.
- Partner with other department to resolve issue and create new solutions.
- Participates actively with Senior Leadership to establish annual goals and desired culture while undertaking supportive actions which build commitment to these values, objectives, and sustained teamwork.
Requirements:
- 8 years of Supply Chain experience in manufacturing
- Knowledge of supply chain concepts and practices in manufacturing
- Knowledge of technology, ERP, materials planning and financial controls
- Knowledge of international customs & trade, taxation, transfer pricing and cGMP regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced and demanding position.
- Ability to analyze complex data, concisely present actionable intelligence and act on that intelligence
- Must be organized and adaptable in a rapidly changing environment.
