Your Role : As a Dental Hygienist, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of patients by providing on-site dental hygiene services. You will collaborate closely with the dental team and facility staff to ensure the comprehensive care needs of our patients are met.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare for patient visits by reviewing patient lists and ensuring that necessary supplies are available.
- Arrive punctually and conduct check-ins with facility dental contacts.
- Transport, set-up, and take down dental equipment in designated treatment areas.
- Coordinate the transfer of patients and their medical charts between treatment rooms.
- Perform various dental hygiene procedures, including X-rays, teeth cleaning, and sealant application, while adhering to all safety and cleanliness regulations.
- Clearly explain procedures to patients and follow up with nursing staff regarding care recommendations.
- Document treatment notes accurately in Salesforce during patient interactions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of dental equipment.
- Manage inventory of supplies and place orders as required.
- Communicate effectively with clinical support teams to coordinate patient care schedules.
- Be available for business-related travel and communicate via cell phone during working hours.
Location : This position covers a home market within a 3-hour travel radius. For locations exceeding 2.5 hours, overnight lodging and meals are provided, along with mileage reimbursement.
