PROJECT CONTROLS MANAGER
The Project Controls Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing project controls functions and providing direction for a project controls team with 10-12 direct reports. Will provide support to the Project Controls Department Manager and Senior Leadership Team implementing and maintaining project control processes for a portfolio projects. This role reports directly to the Project Controls Department Manager, who reports to VP of Project Management.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, monitor, and analyze project schedules ensuring consistency across the program portfolio.
- Drive implementation of critical path methodology on project schedules.
- Proficient in Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), baseline schedule, S-Curves, and progress measurement methodology.
- Proficient in Primavera (P6) with sound knowledge of EPCM work processes and sequences.
- Implement Project Controls Plans and Procedures program wide.
- Monitor project and portfolio performance ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Utilize Earned Value Management to track project performance.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Productivity Index (PI), Cost Performance Index (CPI), and Schedule Performance Index (SPI) to effectively monitor and analyze project performance.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of key performance indicators.
- Manage project cost control, including budgeting, change management, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Identify change and risk management impacts to cost and schedule.
- Ensure timely issue and approval of change orders.
- Ensure invoices are tracked from issuance through payment.
- Interface with company and client stakeholders to ensure effective project execution.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant technical discipline preferred; however, candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
- 12 years of experience in project controls with a focus on cost management, scheduling, change management, and forecasting.
- Demonstrated experience in offshore engineering projects.
- Proficiency in cost management and scheduling tools.
- Must demonstrate a clear understanding and utilization of Earned Value Management.
- Experience using and analyzing Manhour Productivity Index (PI), Cost Performance Index (CPI), and Schedule Performance Index (SPI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.
- Enterprise Projects Performance Software experience (EcoSys preferred).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
