Responsibilities:
- Financial Plan Preparation: Assist in the preparation of comprehensive financial plans, including retirement planning, estate planning, tax planning, and investment strategies.
- Client Meeting Support: Attend client meetings alongside advisors, taking detailed notes and ensuring all client needs are accurately captured and addressed.
- Data Gathering and Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze client data to provide accurate financial projections and recommendations.
- Plan Implementation: Assist in the execution of financial plans by coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and follow-up.
- Investment Research: Conduct research on investment options and strategies to support financial advisors in making informed recommendations.
- Compliance Support: Ensure all financial planning activities adhere to regulatory requirements, firm policies, and ethical standards.
- Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients to answer questions and provide updates on the status of their financial plans.
- Software Utilization: Utilize financial planning software and CRM systems to track client progress and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:
- Must have 3-5 years of paraplanning or related experience within the RIA financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of financial planning concepts, including retirement planning, investments, estate planning, and tax strategies.
- Familiarity with financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro) and CRM systems.
- CFP® certification is preferred or working towards CFP® designation.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and plan preparation.
- Must be able to work in the office 5 days a week, this is not a remote opportunity.
