- Makes outbound calls to customers or interested third parties to provide or obtain additional information and follow up on previous contacts. Takes inbound calls as needed.
- Assists Agents with fulfillment of application processing and following up with required documentation.
- Provides maintenance of AFI policies for retention of membership.
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of customer service experience, or one year satisfactory job performance in clerical support/processing experience with AFI (Associate Degree may be substituted for this requirement)
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, to include a courteous, confident demeanor and appropriate use of grammar and vocabulary
- A provable track record of assertiveness, dependability, trustworthiness, strong communication skills and ability to support sales targets
- Demonstrates sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Keyboard skills of at least 35 wpm
- Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel and Word
- Prior knowledge of the insurance industry, insurance products risk management profiles, and related state and federal regulations
- Ability to accomplish work according to established priorities and procedures
- Successful completion within 90 days of standardized training in Principles of Insurance, Dwelling Coverages, Homeowner Coverages, and Personal Auto Coverages*
- Completion of AINS 101 and AINS 102 within 33 months in the position

Salary : $40,500 - $46,500
