Applications Architect & Developer

This is working on a new team evaluating malware binaries utilizing analysis applications that are integrated that are integrated with their own databases. This position will primarily be focused on adopting these multiple existing applications and establishing initial operating capacity with long term plans for a wider front-end only use. The applications are in various stages and will require coordination and reliance on external dev/O&M teams as well as self-discovery of application configurations, build/hardware requirements, API's, dependencies, interaction with databases of various types, and identification of bugs or other technical issues related to standup of a new system.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance
- Knowledge of system design, architecture, development, with an emphasis on promoting systems interoperability.
- Ability to produce system prototypes to demonstrate application design.
- Experience with change efforts that leverage techniques such as common services, composite and mashup applications that could be easily integrated into existing solutions.
- Experience with System Architecture and System Engineering best practices, and ability to identify technology gaps in current capabilities and processes, as well as identifying new technologies and assess their technical and performance characteristics.
- Experience with design, development integration, and deployment in areas to include air-gapped networks, micro-services and enterprise software capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience developing and interfacing with API's.
- Demonstrated experience with two ore more of the following languages/technologies: Python, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, GitHub.
- Knowledge of data engineering and ETL processes. Ability to work with a data engineer for integrating ETL processes into applications/databases.
- Ability to work in an environment of rapidly changing requirements in support of the client mission.
- BA or BS degree or applicable equivalent work experience.
