Position Overview

As a Sales Associate, you’ll play a key role in upholding this commitment, representing Arnold Machinery in the marketplace, and benefiting from the extensive training we provide.
Essential Job Functions:
- Deliver Silver Service: Ensure Arnold Machinery Company customers receive top-tier service and satisfaction.
- Strategic Marketing: Develop and implement marketing plans to target and support an assigned customer base.
- Sales Generation: Actively contact customers to maximize sales and profitability for the company.
- Professional Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver high-quality sales presentations and quotations, with consistent follow-up to secure business.
- Customer Database Management: Grow and update a database of current customers on a monthly basis.
- Machine Ownership Records: Maintain an up-to-date list of equipment owned by customers on the call list.
- Monthly Reporting: Submit a summary of account activity every month.
- Financial Counseling/Marketing: Provide financial advice and marketing support to customers as needed.
- Timely Invoicing: Ensure customers are invoiced promptly, and that funds are received by the company in a timely manner.
- Cold Calling: Generate new accounts and expand the customer database.
- Expense Control: Effectively manage expenses required in the sales process.
Non-Essential Job Functions:
- Support the Sales Manager with additional tasks as needed.
- Handle data entry and various office-related duties.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Reach to answer phones.
- Occasional walking through uneven terrain.
- Read and process paperwork and digital records.
- Communicate clearly via phone and in person.
- Bend to file documents and handle paperwork.
- Ability to climb in and out of equipment as required for the job.
- Hear communication via radio, phone, and in-person conversations.
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
