Role and Responsibilities
This position involves serving as a delivery driver, with daily reporting to our Greenville, PA warehouse. In addition to driving, you will assist the in-house mechanic with vehicle maintenance and repairs.
· Serves as a delivery driver for material and equipment when needed.
· Load and unload materials at our Greenville, PA warehouse, and deliver to various job sites, including those in Erie, Pittsburgh, and State College.
· Serves as a multi-faceted person doing whatever tasks are required to be completed by the Warehouse Supervisor.
· Previous experience driving delivery trucks is required.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers; Strong attention to detail is mandatory; Trade School certification for mechanics/power tool repair desired or equivalent on the job experience.
-CDL license required (Class B accepted, Class A preferred)
Work Environment
- This position operates in both a field and warehouse environment. Each day, you will report to our Greenville, PA warehouse for instructions on loading and unloading deliveries for the workday. This position may be involved in construction or maintenance and typically follows a 40-hour, five-day workweek, with overtime required as needed. Working conditions can change dramatically depending on the time of year and the current workload of projects. Exposure to contaminants and exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable is a possibility.
