Position – Guest Service Agents
Pay Rate: $17.5 - $18.88 per hour
Location: Washington, DC
Shifts available:
- 3 to 4 days a week - Based upon the events.
What you need to start working :
- Candidate must ensure that every customer interaction is carried out in a professional, courteous and efficient manner
- Proactively seek opportunities to create memorable customer interactions, assist customers and provide excellent service
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with visitors and educate them about the center's services
- Conduct all service functions of the Guest Services kiosk
- Interact with visitors in a courteous manner
- Critical decision-making when dealing with ticket issues, customer concerns or possible emergencies
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Key Requirements
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
- Teams certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous ticket-taking/ushering experience is an asset
- Must be able to stand for the duration of shift (typically 4-6 hours)
- Must be able to walk, climb stairs and navigate the venue
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills while being team-focused
