Description
The Janitorial Day Porter is responsible for and maintains the cleanliness of the company grounds and buildings.
The Janitorial Day Porter is supervised by the Facility Maintenance Manager.
Essential Functions and Duties
· Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, and parking lots.
· Emptying trash cans, being conscious not to empty any shred bins or dispose of any documents not in trash cans.
· Sterilizing and keeping counter tops, desks, door handles, and other surface areas clean.
· Cleaning, restocking, and taking sanitary precautions in restrooms.
· Washing and cleaning windows and mirrors.
· Notifying supervisor of unsafe conditions.
· Properly using equipment, commercial vacuums, and carpet cleaners.
· Other duties as assigned.
· Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.
· Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.
· Maintain personal grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards according to departmental policies.
· Arrive at work, take breaks, and depart work at the times designated by management.
· Attend meetings and trainings as scheduled.
· Ensure that work areas and customer waiting areas are kept clean.

MINIMUM Hiring Requirements
