Job Description:
Artemis Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Traveling Commercial Project Manager to oversee and execute large-scale commercial construction projects across multiple locations for our partnered client. This role requires an experienced leader who can manage projects from pre-construction to completion while ensuring quality, safety, budget, and timeline adherence.
As a Traveling Commercial Project Manager, you will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality commercial builds. This role requires extensive travel, project oversight, and the ability to manage multiple job sites effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee multiple commercial construction projects across various locations.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely completion.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain project quality and efficiency.
- Ensure all projects comply with company standards, local codes, and safety regulations.
- Conduct on-site visits, inspections, and meetings to track progress and address challenges.
- Manage project documentation, reporting, and financial forecasting.
- Resolve issues and conflicts that arise during the construction process.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular project updates.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and negotiate change orders when necessary.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 5 years in commercial construction project management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively to job sites across different states.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Experience working with general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
