Busy Rheumatology private practice in Williamsburg looking for an outgoing, team oriented, people person to join our office. Applicant must be willing to learn, able to multi-task, able to work under pressure, and have strong communication skills. Experience is preferred but is not required. Experience with insurance verification and working with an EMR is preferred. Duties include verifying patient demographics and insurance, collecting copays/back balances, working providers schedules, faxing, scanning, answering phone calls and returning messages and working one on one with nurses, other administrative staff, Nurse Practitioners, and Physicians. Position comes with competitive benefits including vacation and sick time, health insurance, dental insurance, 401K/matching, competitive pay, bonuses, paid holidays, no weekend and no nights. Work Schedule consists of four 10 hour shifts (Monday-Thursday from 7am to 530pm and Friday off). Part-time with a flexible schedule is also available. We are looking for someone who would like to join our team to stay long term and learn and grow with the company.
