Information System Security Engineer

Artiminds LLC is looking for a talented Security Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll lead security operations, deployment processes, and technical support for retail point-of-sale (POS) environments, ensuring seamless and secure technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build Relationships: Collaborate effectively with partner teams, maintaining regular communication to drive solutions for security findings.
• Analyze Security Findings: Evaluate vulnerabilities, document solutions, and define deployment processes for optimal outcomes.
• Manage Releases: Oversee lab and production releases by planning, coordinating, and reporting status. Enhance and maintain telemetry systems for deployment insights.
• Provide Technical Support: Conduct in-depth testing and troubleshooting of issues, including hands-on in-person support at our designated lab.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 4 years in security operations, deployment, and incident response roles.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Experience with retail POS hardware environments.
• Proficiency in Windows and Android operating systems.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, group policy, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN).
• Ability to write scripts/code in PowerShell or Python.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Configuration Manager, Splunk, Qualys, and MDM solutions.
• Experience with Onspring, New Relic, AWS, or Azure is a plus.
• Skills:
• Strong ability to prioritize and independently execute tasks with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to troubleshoot and support overnight deployments as needed.
