Clinic Based Speech-Langauge Pathology Assistant

Ascend is hiring Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to provide therapy services to children in a private clinic/ inclusion preschool setting in Livermore.

Ascend is a multidisciplinary company that provides Speech, Occupational, and Physical therapy to children in the format that suits them best. We serve kids in various settings, such as home-based, outpatient clinics, and our inclusion preschools.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a CA State Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License, with Bachelors Degree
• CA Speech Language Pathologist License for SLP's

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in implementing treatment plans for clients, particularly children and students.
• Conduct assessments and document progress in accordance with medical terminology and anatomy knowledge.
• Support early intervention strategies and participate in IEP meetings to ensure tailored care.
• Maintain First Aid and CPR certifications while adhering to safety protocols in a clinical environment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and provide quality care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
